Some Information Before Of Going Through An Airbrush Suntan

By Haywood Hunter

Airbrush suntan has so far become a popular way of making the skin look healthier and attractive without exposure to sun. Avoiding all the skin damages from the sun and getting an equivalent in a much safer and quicker way is everyone's joy as pertains to tanning. Right inside your house, get a golden look through easy brushing steps within a small duration of time.

As you prepare for the airbrushing process, shower so as to clean up yourself from any dirt. Oils and toxins which accumulate on the skin throughout the day could be a hindrance in the process. This is because tanning works perfect on a cleaner and smooth skin.

You ought not to apply any lotion after showering if you are looking towards achieving the best results. The airbrush liquid may end up not sticking if the skin has some elements of lotion or oil. Drying up the skin thoroughly could help instead.

The skin should be exposed and getting a loose garment is the best option. It is also recommended because even the drying process will be achieved much faster. Furthermore, obtaining a complete tan coverage of the skin should be kept in mind.

The initial layer should start from the foot as you work upwards to the knee. Addition of another layer can be effected after the first one dries up. However, this decision can be reached at if the depth of the shade is not good enough.

The next areas to be tanned are the thighs and the upper body in general. When it comes to the arms and elbows, more care should be taken so that creasing issues do not arise. Light pressure application is the best option in these areas as too much pressure will cause an overlap of the tan.

The neck and shoulders are the next to be tanned after the elbows. However, when it reaches the back, it would be proper if you engage a friend to help you finish up the process. The aim is to obtain evenly tanning as you may not be able to reach the further edges of your back.

Putting your legs and arms open helps in facilitating the drying process. This is to try and avoid the skin being in contact with other areas until it dries up entirely. It is even better if you use a blow dryer as this will aid in the process of drying.

After the tan dries up, a moisturizer can now be used to keep it fresh. A light soap wash can also be used to keep your tan in a perfect state for a longer time. Avoiding exfoliation is necessary as this can get rid of the top layer where your tan is.

Applying a tan extender cream is another important part of airbrush sun tan as it helps the tan to stay for a longer time. Alcoholic application should however be avoided because it can result to un-planned removal of the tan due to its effect on the skin. With proper care, you can take up to two or three weeks before another re application.
