One should not forget about the clothing articles. The shirt should not be cotton one might suffocate in it. The recommended material is nylon for its lightness. Wear the outfit at least once to feel how comfortable the outfit is.

Being fit both physically and mentally is important to having a good race. This is why many trainers recommend that one runs a few shorter courses before the day. This will keep you physically fit and also give you mental fitness. If you cannot find a race to enroll in you can run as a group of friends.

One might be tempted to think just training is enough but what they forget is that you have to train for the landscape that you will have. First do your research on the kind of landscape there is and train for it. If it is hilly train by running up and down hills do the same if it is a flat area.

Keeping the body hydrated is very crucial this is why one should take the same energy drink that will be provided that day. The frequency of the drink should also match that of the big day. This kind of information is gotten from asking the organizers.

As the big day comes closer the confidence levels for the runner should also be high. It is for this reason that they are advised to run a similar race either three to four days before the day. This will greatly give their confidence a boost that they really need.

Training can be difficult especially for those who lack the discipline to do so. Training at the same time as when the big race will be is a good idea so that the body gets the rhythm even for the bathroom breaks.
