Also, your cellphone can be used to call for help if you are ever in a crisis. If you feel as if you are becoming sick while out in the heat, call for assistance right away.

Keep a hat on during the hot times of the day. If you are outside avoid direct sunlight by wearing a wide brim hat. These hats are great to reduce sun exposure to the neck, head and face. Most people do not know it but the top of the head is one of the places that is exposed to sunlight first. People with very thin hair and fair skin are highly susceptible to the exposure.

These clothing items will protect you from ticks, spider bites and sometimes stings by other insects. On extremely hot days plan all indoor activities, there is no reason to ever go out the front door if the temperature rises about 90 degrees before 10a. M. Your best bet is to stay home and stay cool for the day.
