Understanding Differences Between Soy Vitamins And Soy Foods

By Beryl Dalton

People no longer feel confident about the foods they eat as their heads are filled with so much doubt and confusion on whether the food is healthy or not. Soy Vitamins supplements are some of the foods that are very beneficial to human health. Soy foods for instance have been exposed to so many myths that aren't true. There is quite a wide variety of soy products such as soy milk, soy beverages and foods. Nutritionists affirmed that you can actually use the soya as a dietary supplement or additive.

There have been a lot of theories and controversies regarding the soy foods and isoflavones, their differences, similarities and significance in the body and whether they have any similarities with the soy group of organic compounds. However, to make this clear it's good to note that both act independently and has no relationship in terms of what they complement the body with.

The main ingredients of the vitamins are the isoflavones of their extracts. On the other hand, soy foods are generally the combination of different food elements including minerals, any group of organic compounds, isoflavones proteins and saponins. To that point I believe you now differentiate the two.

Many of you may get confused once you come across terms like the iso flavones and the soy proteins. On that note it is important to elaborate the two. The natural plant compounds found in the soy beans and other leguminous plants makes up the isoflavones which comes in three forms namely; the genistin, daidsin and the glycitin.

Since soybean vitamins contain various forms of isoflavones, they can be very useful to the human body when taken. For instance, they can be used as treatment of health problems that may arise as a result of menopause or hormonal imbalance. Aside from that, when these supplements are taken, they have an impact on bones by making them stronger hence prevention of osteoporosis.

Another very important component of soybeans is the proteins. The proteins in soybeans contain all the nine amino acids that are required by the body. These amino acids are usually linked together to make proteins. Nowadays, nutritionists recommend the use of soybeans to supplement meat with too much cholesterol and fat. Note that too much fats and cholesterol is not good for the body as they bring about diseases like heart problem.

Using vitamins as food supplements is extremely helpful and carries abundant benefits altogether. They are viable substitution for other proteins normally gained by eating meat which is associated with higher fat contents opposed to the soy proteins. It also help reduce the bad cholesterol called the LDL cholesterol which leads to body complications in future.

Much has been said about soy foods and vitamins, but then we need to stress on the importance of eating balanced diet. Note that there are several soy food supplements available in the market today and there are even the synthetic isoflavones as well. All in all, isoflavones that are extracted from soybeans and red clover are the known natural isoflavones that could help you improve your health as there is no toxicity in them.
